These fun placemats are great for new sewists ! If you are comfortable using a sewing machine and want to put your skills to work, this is a great place to start. You can use one fabric, or pair two coordinating ones for the front and the back. Come on in and we will happily guide you through your fabric selection!

We recommend you bring your own sewing machine and a 1/4" foot. If you don't have your own sewing machine, you can use one of ours! During this 2 1/2 hour class, you'll learn machine and hand sewing to complete two placemats

Supplies you'll need:

• ½ yard quilting cotton print (for front)

• ½ yard coordinating quilting cotton solid (for contrast back)

• coordinating thread (we can match it at the shop)

• fusible fleece

• rotary cutter

• cutting mat

• needle for hand sewing

• heat erasable marker

Supplies should be purchased before the start date of the class and fabrics should be pre-washed.
