Twenty Years in Business - Part 1

Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 21st! All afternoon long, we're gonna celebrate TWENTY years of business with some great storewide discounts, a TON of awesome giveaways, and more.

Beginning September 1st, I began chronicling the shop's journey, beginning with its 2004 opening, on our Instagram and Facebook. If you haven't seen it, check out these highlights:

It all began with this one... here's the fabulous Nina in front of her shop!

The original shop's interior was both functional and elegant:

Nina was established as a modern shop in a time where there weren't many others yet. Who remembers that iconic paper mache needle display?

Enter... me! Not as the owner, but as Nina's newest employee, in 2009.

I worked there until I bought the shop in 2017, so I must have liked it!

I was immediately thrown into the most amazing world of creativity and community. To hear more about the beginning of my journey into this world, check out the Instagram Live from September 3rd.

We also hosted some AMAZING teachers and designers...

Among these visitors were Stephen West, Joslyn Villalpando and Jen Geigley.
