Individually hand crafted in Cincinnati, Ohio, this drop spindle is perfect for beginners. It's high-quality, made from maple and beech, but also reasonably-priced. The conical design of the maple whorl adds extra weight to the rim, allowing for longer and more stable spinning. The whorl's notch also secures the spun yarn in place. Every spindle is tested before being sent to us! Approximate size is 10" long and 2.5" around.
