Prairie is a super soft alternative for folks who are sensitive to mohair. It's a brushed suri made from alpaca fiber. With its brushed single ply, it is perfect held with another yarn to create a light fuzzy halo. Also great on its own, it makes airy and weightless clothing and accessories. Gauge is a mere suggestion for this yarn, it can be knit on larger needles and hooks to create beautiful lacey items.
