A "punch needle" refers to a sharp, hollow metal needle with a handle. Punch needle, the craft, is using this tool to push loops through a woven fabric. This simple technique is often used for rugs, pillows, and wall hangings.
Join Kristin of Kraeo for this special workshop! When she isn't dyeing yarn for her Fuzz Family line or our in-house Movers & Makers Line, you'll find her doing her own punch needle projects, macrame, or possibly even making her own soap. She can do it all.
Beginners are welcome and highly encouraged because anyone can learn punch needle! It's actually very meditative due to its repetitive nature, and also a whole lot of fun if you are feeling particularly "stabby." Monks cloth, a hoop, a punch needle, and a variety of colors of rug wool are included.
Classes are for adults and young adults aged 16 years or older.
Please note that we have a one-week rescheduling policy and that classes and workshops are non-refundable. We will happily reschedule you for another class or allot store credit if we are notified of any conflict at least one week in advance.
We cannot guarantee make-ups for no-shows or cancellations within one week. Classes with low attendance may be cancelled and rescheduled in which case, we will offer a credit for a future class or a full refund.
