Shadow Color Cowl

Tunisian Crochet lends itself well to shadow or illusion colorwork! Going back and forth between TSS and RSS plays with the texture of the fabric in a way that's fun from every angle, easily achieved with a simple two-row sequence. And due to the nature of the stitches, the effect is almost perfectly reversible from right side to wrong side.

For our sample, we used the CCs in the same order twice, and the color-shifting MC makes each section pop in a unique way. After completing the color sequence of the first Spiral Grain skein, we started it over from the beginning to give all the colors a chance to shine. The order you choose is completely open to your creativity!
