These Summer Pants are a classic pair of pull-on pants in woven fabric. The side and back pockets are generous, and the fit of the pants is straightforward and fluid. The summer pants sewing pattern works fantastic when sewn in a light or medium-weight woven fabric, this would be perfect in a linen blend!

Suggested Fabrics
Use bottom-weight fabric in linen, cotton, light canvas, or denim. Use woven fabric without stretch for your summer pants sewing pattern. Use materials such as cotton or polyester for the pocket lining and interfacing that supports the weight of your fabric.

130-140 cm (52-55″) wide fabric: Pants, 2 – 2.25 m (2.2 – 2.5 yd) // Shorts, 1.5 m (1.75 yd).

Interfacing; 4-4.5 cm (1 1/2″-2″) wide elastic (see chart for length)
1-1.5 cm (3/8″-1/2″) drawstring (see chart for length)
Two 10-12 mm (3/8″-1/2″) buttons for optional pocket flaps.
