Our custom sock ruler is now made with a clear aqua acrylic so you can see through it! Simply slip it into your sock while on the needles to accurately measure when to begin the toe (or gusset/heel for toe-up socks). This ruler features precise markings in inches, centimeters, US Men/Women, and Euro shoe sizes, ensuring a flawless fit every time.

How to use it:

• stand on it with your heel against a wall to determine the length of your foot

• stick the ruler into top-down socks with the zero at the heel to gauge where you are at in your knitting

• hold toe-up socks to the ruler to determine what size you are at

Adult socks usually have a negative ease of 10%, and their measurements are about 1/2" or 1.3 cm shorter than the length of the foot, and 1" or 2.5 cm smaller than the circumference of the leg or foot.
