The Toaster Sweaters are high neck sweater designs to keep you both cute and cozy in the cooler months. Perfect for beginning sewists (or anyone!), these sweaters are designed to be constructed using knit fabric with at least 20% stretch around the width of the body.
Sweater #1: Closer fitting, semi-cropped sweatshirt/sweater, best sewn in a thick, stiff knit. With raglan sleeves, a wide waistband, a loose turtleneck, long cuffs and falls between the high and low hip this top is lovely in a standard sweatshirt fleece but can also be made in a sweater knit for a fancier look.
Sweater #2: Similar to #1, this sweater that can be dressed up or down. Semi-fitted through the shoulders and sleeves, with looser cut at the underarms and hem. Side vents add a comfortable element with the back 1" lower than the front and hitting at the high hip.

Sweater #1: Mid- to heavy-weight stretch knits with at least 20% stretch, such as some sweatshirt fleece, ponte, wool jersey, knit boiled wool.
Sweater #2: Mid-weight stretch knits with at least 20% stretch, such as some sweatshirt fleece, ponte, wool jersey, knit boiled wool, stretch woven wool, heavier jersey knits.
