This pattern is special because it is dedicated to twenty years of our shop being open. The two different colors represent the two owners the shop has had over the years. The MC represents Hilary, the current owner, who worked for and alongside Nina for years before taking over. The CC represents Nina, the original owner, who carried the shop for the first 13 years.

Eventually, while the CC leaves and the MC continues on, the CC is still represented in the speckles of the MC yarn, indicating that Nina’s touch will always be an important part of the shop. The diagonal pattern repeats in groups of twenty, each one representing a year. On the 21st repeat, a diagonal line appears crossing over, which represents the 21st year and beyond. Together, we will all see what the future holds for us!
